Clarks Hill Rental Cabin:
The Clarks Hill Rental cabin is located on Thurmond Lake in Appling, Georgia, across from Wildwood Park in Columbia County. It is one of two units located right on the waterfront. Both are non-smoking units, though smoking is permitted outside.
Located on a low traffic road, it is great for bike riding or long nature walks.
There are plenty of small animals and wildlife along these walkways such as rabbits, squirrels and lots of birds to keep the kids entertained, though for their safety, children must be adult supervised at all times.
There is a boat dock available to tie up your fishing boat, sailboat or jet ski, just down the walk a few yards from the house, and swimming is also available right from the dock**.
The unit is less than 2 years old, has central heating and air conditioning, and has 900 square feet of living space to include:
- One bedroom with 19” TV accessible to cable and dish network
- Full kitchen with dishwasher and plenty of cabinet space
- Dishes, utensils and some pots and pans are on premises for your use
- An outdoors barbeque gas grill is also available for use
- Dining area seats four adults comfortably
- A laundry area with washer and dryer
- Full bath with Jacuzzi tub
- Linens and towels are provided, but we think you will be more comfortable bringing your own beach towels
- Comfortably furnished living room area with Lazy Boy queen size sofa bed which sleeps two adults
- A large entertainment center with 22” TV accessible to cable and dish network
- To help preserve our ‘natural’ atmosphere, there are no phones in the house, but you are welcome to bring your cell phone. Most service providers extend coverage into this area.
The minimum stay is two nights at $125 USD / night, for 2 adults. Additional persons are $25 per night, per person, maximum of 4 persons, total occupancy. Call for dates of availability. 50% deposit, plus refundable clean-up fee required in advance (see clean-up fee below).
Masters Week rental package, six nights (minimum): $900 USD. Each additional night beyond the minimum 6 nights, $150 USD / night. Masters Week rental rates apply from April 1 thru April 10. First come, first served. 50% deposit, plus refundable clean-up fee required in advance (see clean-up fee below). Call for details.
Check in time is 12:00 noon. Check out time on the day of departure is 12:00 noon. A deposit of 1/2 the total rental fee, plus a refundable $150 clean-up fee, is required in advance. The clean-up deposit is refundable upon departure, providing that the facility is left tidy. Cleaning items are available for your use.
The balance of payment is made upon arrival, at check-in. Payment may be made with check, cash or money order.
